At JPG Models, we utilize two advanced 3D printing technologies: Digital Light Processing (DLP) and Stereolithography (SLA).

• DLP Printing: DLP technology uses a digital light projector to flash a single image of each layer across the entire platform, curing the resin in one go. This method is faster and highly efficient for producing detailed models with crisp edges and smooth surfaces.

• SLA Printing: SLA printing uses a laser to trace the layers of the model in the liquid resin. It is known for its ability to produce very high-resolution prints with excellent detail and smooth finishes. SLA is ideal for intricate designs and complex geometries.

2. What types of resins do you offer?

We offer a wide range of resin types to suit various project needs:

• Standard Resins: These are versatile and suitable for general-purpose printing, offering a good balance between cost and quality.

• High-Resolution Resins: Ideal for projects requiring exceptional detail and fine features. These resins are perfect for models where precision is crucial.

• Castable Resins: Specifically designed for investment casting, these resins burn out cleanly without residue, making them ideal for jewelry, dental models, and other casting applications.

• ABS-like Resins: These resins mimic the properties of ABS plastic, offering durability and strength, making them suitable for industrial applications, injection molds, and metal molds.

• Rubber-like Resins: Flexible resins that are perfect for parts needing elasticity and softness, such as prototypes or custom components requiring a rubber-like material.

3. What is the printing resolution?

Our 3D printers offer a high resolution, allowing for extremely detailed and accurate models:

• Minimum Layer Height: 0.025 mm (25 microns)

• Horizontal (XY) Resolution: Up to 12K resolution, depending on the specific printer and project requirements.

This high resolution ensures that even the most intricate details are captured, resulting in smooth surfaces and sharp features.

4. What is the maximum model size you can print?

Our printers can handle a wide range of model sizes:

• Maximum Build Volume: X 275 mm x Y 155 mm x Z 300 mm

This allows us to print both small, highly detailed components and larger models, catering to a variety of project needs.

​
